FInal Office is FINISHED!!!!

Today has been the most productive day I have ever had in terms of using secondlife. After hours of work, building in secondlife became easier. This blog will show my (almost) step by step progress for this project.
Step 1:
It was very difficult to find space in Putahi as ever
yone has been busy working on their own office. Eventually, i got this spot and started working on it.

This shape is based on one of my journals,A10. It is a magazine about new European Architecture. It is a good magazine and even has its own website which is handy for designing my office. This journal interests me the most so I think I will refer to this a few times for my office.

Step 2:

As one of the requirements on this project was to create your own texture, I used an image from the internet and used photoshop save as targa and include in my inventory so I can use it. I liked the way it turned out.

Step 3:

There's a big of a jump from the previous snapshot to this, simply because I forgot to take a photo! Silly me!
This is on the main floor of the office where actual meeting will happen. A table, and plenty of space is provided for a proper meeting environment.
The tables' design is inspired by my journal, A10. Using colours that stand out from the background, yet keeping it simple and elegant.

Step 4:

This is a close-up of what is on the wall in the office. Although it look like a poster, It is also a link to one of my journals. Again, this is a requirement for the project.

Step 5:

I once again created a texture for the sofa. This time it's a leather texture and look's good inside the office. I have kept a simple theme of colours. Black/grey but in different tones as well as red.

Step 6:

Almost done! I've included plants into my office design
to make it look "homey". You are able to buy different kinds of plants on the secondlife website. I decided to put only four plants, in corner, because I did not want to put too much that will over crowd the office space.

Final step 7:

This is the final design of the office. It's simple yet elegant. Some features were inspired by my journals, some were purely new creation. I have kept it simple so there's not too many distraction once you're inside for a meeting, which is the purpose of the office. Plenty of space is provided for presentations and or socializing.
Today was a long day, hence, the long blog, but as I said, today was very productive.
Hope you like the design!
